Four Dead Queens ebook by Astrid Scholte - Rakuten Kobo.

Four Dead Queens is honestly just not well written, especially given the huge amount of hype and marketing budget surrounding it. The writing style is amateur, which I can take it with a pinch of salt given this is a debut. The writing and dialogue are overly formal, and there's no elegance or nuance to the way characters say things: they say it, yell it, or just randomly burst into tears. The.

FOUR DEAD QUEENS is a darkly delicious tale that keeps you in constant suspense. A thrilling, genre-blending book perfect for fans of both fantasy and murder mysteries. I just might be the fifth dead queen because this story--with its labyrinthine twists and turns--slayed me in every possible way.

Four Queens. A divided nation. A ruthless pickpocket. A noble messenger. And the murders that unite them. Seventeen-year-old Keralie Corrington is one of Quadara’s most skilled thieves, but when she steals an unexpectedly valuable package from a messenger she is soon entangled in a conspiracy that leads to all four of Quadara’s queens being murdered.

Four dead queens book 2

Four Dead Queens in a nutshell: I loved the fast pace of the book, and the alternating viewpoints and learning about the quadrants and the queens, but I feel like the structure of the book was lacking THOROUGHLY. IN MORE DETAIL.

Four dead queens book 2

Make no mistake, Four Dead Queens is a good book with some interesting turns, but it was definitely lacking in some key areas. First, the pace: the pacing was fair at first(I loved how she did the timing of the two plots), but became ultra-fast paced at about Part Three. As for the twists, there were some pretty good one's, but the biggest one of them all(who killed the queens?) was really.

Four dead queens book 2

Four Dead queens is a young adult fantasy novel by debut author Astrid scholte. Four Dead Queens is a stand-alone novel that I really enjoyed. It is told in such an interesting way. The Novel switches between several different perspectives, which include each of the four queens of Quadara, our main character Keralie, and a few other characters scattered throughout.

Four dead queens book 2

The book is obviously quite violent just from the title. There are a lot of instances of violence (can't say too much without going into detail), but it's fairly descriptive. There is also a lot of sexual content. Two of the queens are in a secret relationship with each other. A queen is in a relationship with a male advisor. Keralie and Varin have a few moments. Overall in the book, there is.

Book 80 Four dead Queens by Astrid Scholte For me this book is a great concept with some amazing plot twists, but suffered from bad pacing, plot holes and forgettable characters. Pacing issues. I struggled though the first half of this book but then from page 249 (Part 3) I was hooked after the first major plot twist. There's another couple of big plot twists, 1 was really great but the other.

For Four Dead Queens, I knew I wanted to have a murder mystery set in a fantasy world, which was divided into very distinct regions with a queen ruling together, yet apart. When I first starting writing, I imagined there would be six queens, but I quickly discovered two of the queens, Freya and Mobi, didn’t have much screen time. These two queens only lasted the first draft before getting.
